SEM Volunteers’ Christmas Party

Oh What a Night!!!  Lots of fun, lots of laughs and lots of singing and great food and wine!!

The SEM Choir  made its  first (and probably last) public appearance.  The crowd all joined in  and sang their merry hearts out.  We had a special appearance from our own SEM fairy (great picture  for future blackmail!!!)

All in all another fantastic night.  Thank you to all our wonderful SEM volunteers.  Merry Christmas and a Blessed and Safe New Year.  SEM looks forward to seeing you all in 2010 for another great year.

Christmas Hampers

Jan is busy working away on the Christmas Hampers.  Thank you to everyone for their generosity in donating towards the hampers.  Special mention to Monday Craft Group for running the raffle, All Saint’s and Moana Primary Schools for the food drive and Alan & Eddie for collecting the hampers.  Without the generosity of everyone this program wouldn't be possible.

SEM Mural

The launch of the SEM Mural was held on Thurs 3rd December.  The project was in conjunction with SEM, Mission SA, Council and McDonalds Seaford.  It was a very pleasant afternoon and just really nice to see the youth and the community working together.

The mural looks great on top of the SEM building and brings together was the southern region is all about—the coast, the vines, the community and the people.

Thank you to all who helped on the day.

SEM Committee of Management

The SEM Committee of Management now meets every three months.  At its last meeting for this year we were fortunate to have two new members join us.  Andrew Murray has been appointed as Chairperson and Joyce Newing as a member of the Committee.

There is currently one vacancy on the Committee of Management so if you have some spare time and would like to be involved on this Committee, feel free to come in and see Isabel to find out what is involved.

Thank you to past and current members.  This Committee helps to oversee the legal and financial responsibilities of the Mission.

SEM wishes you all a Merry and Blessed Christmas and a Happy and Safe New Year.

See You in 2010!
