Volunteers are an integral part of SEM vision to “serve the needs of the people of the Seaford Community and beyond”. Without volunteers, the Seaford Ecumenical Mission would not be able to offer its many programs and services. Volunteers give their time to help others. They are selfless in their efforts, commitment, support and generosity in helping SEM to help the community.
The Seaford Ecumenical Mission values its volunteers and appreciates the commitment that they make. SEM volunteers come from all walks of life, some are members of the SEM partner churches, some come through various programs including Centrelink, Commonwealth Rehab Program and the like, others are people from the community … wherever they come from, whatever their background, these people are a true blessing for SEM and the community.
Volunteering offers the opportunity to get involved in your community, to meet other people, become aware of other services and programs in the local area, build new skills and confidence and to provide you with a sense of belonging. New volunteers are always welcome at SEM and if you would like to find out about volunteering, feel free to call 8392 4522.
The Seaford Ecumenical Mission would like to acknowledge the wonderful work of all of its volunteers and to thank them for their tremendous efforts.
